A Better Love Song than Sara Could Sing

Here is a poem my friend Samantha wrote- check it out- im gonna see if i can get some of her other stuff on here too...

A Better Love Song than Sara Could Sing

Warrior hands, once vagabonds with other girls, now hold softly
to The curves of my hips,
leading the blush of your lips
to silhouette sounds
…I would fight thousands for your love.

Well-deep eyes that reflect the courage of Daniel
Hold to the reflection of the whisper you have told me
…The eyes of His heart are always upon you.

And although I can’t swim,
A stead fast float leads me deeper into this holy water
which has captivated this hopeless poet.
Sink or swim, bathing in your guiltless rescue
I am no longer a captive of unreturned adulation

So fix your gaze on this defenseless heart
Let the words of Solomon’s song kiss
this vulnerable spirit and say, without hesitation
not to a blemished heart, but to one which finally beats
No longer hidden beneath the 24 ancestors of Adam’s remains

...Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, and come with me
